October Solar Celebration!

In October 2015, Sungevity held a local solar celebration for all those going solar with them over the years in the local area, Inland Empire and beyond. Sungevity provided music, catered gourmet food and gourmet drink. The beer and wine were rated carbon friendly and the food was amazing. The staff from Sungevity were friendly and helpful, answering any of our questions. One of my Sungevity reps was there Courtney Hyde, coordinator of the event, with help from Neusa, Melissa and many others. Courtney had answers for all my questions and did a great job with the Sungevity team providing us with great food, drink, fun and conversation.

There were awards for those contributing to helping spread solar in the area, solar-themed games for the kids and trivia games (with prizes) for the adults. We all had a great time. I was there with Robert (mr. pip) and we had a great time.

Funny thing, the location of the event was in Etiwanda at a church where I was married at back in the 70’s. So I gave Robert a tour of the koi ponds, chapel and grounds since he did not know me back then.

It was a great afternoon and I hope they have this as a yearly event and have more of these events around the country.

Robert and I have had our solar panel system since 2010 so we are now five years into our helping the planet and helping save money. Go Solar!!!
