January 2015 solar panels output graph

Here is January 2015 solar panels output graph. The system still saves over $1000 a year on electricity after paying the lease and electric bill from SCE, each year I save even more because the SCE bill has higher rates for electricity every year. Now the tiers go from 15 cents to 31 cents, ouch. So with solar no biggie, a normal pre-solar bill in mid-summer using air conditioning during the day was $285 and after installation of the solar panels (3.7kw) it went down to $85, great deal. My friend Robert still loves his solar panels too. For February 2015 the referral code gets you $750 off the price of your purchase or lease.

  1. Hi Dan. It’s great that you’re sharing your solar power experience. I expect to see more blogs like yours as more people continue to go solar.

    • I feel it is important to share this information/knowledge with the world so that the world can go solar along with other forms of energy such as wind, etc. The more information we have the better choices we make. Right?
