Monsoons and solar panels

The monsoons that came on 7/31/11 in the morning were a good thing.

– We needed the rain.

– The monsoons washed our solar panels.

– The monsoons washed Roberts panels and Gordon’s panels. Yeah, Gordon you don’t have to wash them now. Good thing you waited. Did you know they were coming? Patience furthers (an old Chinese saying from the I Ching), smile.

– Many cars got a semi-wash.

– My yard didn’t need the sprinklers on for a day or two.

Now were into August of 2011 and my panels will be one year old on August 19th. That was the first day of installation. It took 3 days because of the 103 degree heat each day of the install. Amazing how they can work on a hot roof during days like that. Check out my blog of August 2011 and  you can see photos and videos of those days, the process and the results.

Have a good August. – Dan
